Cocoa Tigers, MCC Hustlers Put together for Regional Remaining Dwelling Playoff Matchups on Black Friday

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Tigers and MCC Hustlers are the final remaining colleges in Brevard County competing within the FHSAA playoffs.
Each squads are making ready for his or her residence playoff video games on Black Friday within the FHSAA Regional Finals for Class 1S (MCC) and Class 2S (Cocoa).
For Cocoa (11-1), the Tigers are using a 9-game win streak after defeating Dunnellon 35-0 within the Regional Quarterfinal final Friday.
The Tigers, the No. 4 rated highschool workforce in Florida by MaxPreps, has outscored their final three opponents 115-7.
Cocoa has been led by sophomore QB Brady Hart who has 3,034 passing yards, 36 touchdowns and seven interceptions on the yr.
Vast receiver Jayvan Boggs (Ohio State commit) has had a exceptional yr with 70 receptions, 1,191 receiving yards and a whopping 20 touchdowns.
Defensively, the Tigers are led by main tackler Samadrae Hawkins who has 115 complete tackles, 74 solo and 16 tackles for loss.
The Tigers will face off towards South Sumter (11-1) this Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Cocoa.
For MCC (9-2), the Hustlers have gained their final 7-games with their final loss approaching Sept. 15 at Viera (53-7). MCC defeated Halifax Academy 37-0 final Friday.
If the Hustlers win, they’d play the winner of North Florida Christian vs St. John Paul II within the State Semifinal.
The Hustlers have been led by freshman QB Joseph Allen who has had a powerful season with 1,747 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
Defensively, the Hustlers are led by senior defensive again Brian Oesterle who leads the workforce in tackles (77).
MCC will face off towards Trinity Catholic (4-7) this Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Melbourne.
